The Tabriz style is one of the oldest and most varied styles of carpet weaving.  The Tabriz style is varied, crossing many forms of artistic depiction from quoting poetry to floating flowers. Using the traditional cream, red, and navy blue, this carpet is able to form an intricate display of style and color with layered borders and expressive design. Blue is left in reserve, except for the medallion which uses blue as a background to its breathtaking floral pattern.
